The Fortis Tactical Vest (FTV) is our premium tactical unit with laser-cut MOLLE slots all over the unit, made right here in Texas. It is built on two different platforms: the traditional Eagle Ind. FS "Tubes" Quick Release
We employ "Tubes" style quick-release, so getting in and out is fast in an emergency. Unlike a lanyard release, it won't dump all your gear on the ground in pieces. When lanyard-style quick release fails, it's catastrophic — it either dumps the vest apart when you don't want it to, or it doesn't work at all. The Tubes method can be adversely affected and still serve its function thanks to its multiple access points.
Ballistic System Choices (panels sold separately)
Ultralite 3-A— This is a our premium UHMW UDPE flexible soft armor. This system affordably addresses threats and is comfortable to wear. The material is sourced via a domestic manufacturer of ballistic materials.
